Based in Palm Oil Mill located in Tawau, Sabah.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct monitoring, trending and tracking of daily power consumption as well as, initiate preventive maintenance to prevent or minimize equipment breakdown and power failure.
• To ensure that substation equipment installations is executed in such as manner that meets the quality specified as well as safety requirements.
• Do troubleshooting and maintenance of package equipment such as Boiler, mill switchboard, fire alarm system and etc.
• Ensures smooth operations/functioning of all mechanical and electrical installations/apparatus such as motor, motor starter, switchgear, lighting, air-conditioning system, generator set, UPS, fire protection system etc.
• Upkeeps the mechanical and electrical installations and attends to the minor repairs of the mechanical and electrical faults, including the replacement of components and parts.
• Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance to all the mechanical and electrical installations/apparatus according to schedules.
• Ensures the mechanical and electrical installations in the building carried out by the appointed contractors are adhered to specifications and the Regulations of the relevant authorities.
• Establish and review shutdown work and normalizing procedures for all mechanical and electrical facilities in line with Electricity Supply Act and Regulation i.e. from Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia.
• Carry out maintenance, installation and inspection of all low voltage, switchgear, transformers and other electrical system.

Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least SPM with credits in Mathematics and Science or a Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Proficient in both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel and Word).
• Multitasking, fast learner, independent and self – motivated.
• Possess A4 Certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia with minimum 5 years working experience in Palm Oil Mill or Industries Plant.
• Willing to work and live in Plantation Environment.
