SITE SUPERVISOR
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• To assist and report to the Site Manager / immediate superior andto liaise effectively with sub-contractors, workers for smooth progress.
• As the Site Supervisor, you are to coordinate and supervise construction activities at project site including supervising workers and monitor subcontractors to meet proposed schedule.
• To study drawings, specification compliance with design requirements and site conditions to understand project requirement.
• You are required to attend site meetings, to ensure projects meets the stipulated quality requirements by closely monitoring, highlight problem or defects and supervising the work of the worker/subcontractor.
• Preparing related document such as site diary and timely update of work to superior.
• Ensure safety measures are implemented at site all time.
• To monitor machineries and wastage of construction materials by subcontractors.
• To check quality of workdone by workers and subcontractors.
• To check stock and purchase necessary materials for construction. To check delivery of materials on site.
• Other ad-hoc tasks or duties as and when assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATION, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE
• To work independently with integrity and commitment to assigned duties.
• Effective site management skills and knowledge in reading construction plans.
• A positive attitude and willingness to encourage co-workers
• Proficient in verbal and written communication – Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Responsible, pleasant and independent personality, fit and possess good health for work.
• Having good self- discipline and able to work under pressure.
