Senior Accounts Executive

_ Key Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)._
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports accurately and on time._
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow._
• Process payments, invoices, staff claims, and journal entries._
• Prepare and submit SST returns and ensure compliance with statutory requirements._
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, banks, and government authorities._
• Assist in year-end audit, budgeting, and financial forecasting._
• Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions (if applicable)._
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls._
• Support payroll accounting and other finance-related tasks as assigned._
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and enhance operational efficiency.

; JOB REQUIREMENTS: _

• Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in the property development industry is mandatory.
• Proven experience in handling a full set of accounts independently.
• Good knowledge of SST regulations and Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as SQL, AutoCount, UBS, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Candidates who are available to start immediately or within a short notice period will have an added advantage.
