Responsibilities:
- Vat submissions;
- Creditors;
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and accounted for;
- Analyse and evaluate financial information;
- Prepare quarterly reports as required by the PFMA;
- Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments;
- Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out;
- Cash flow management; strategic involvement and decision making/
- Responsible for monthly stock takes and variance investigation thereof;
- Assist/lead implementation and Operation of ERP system;
- Solely responsible for NPD costings and feasibility thereof;
- Cash Requirement Forecasting;
- Tax year-end for Pact and that the IRP5s are processed together with Subsistence letters;
- Ad hoc tasks as requested from management;
- Ensuring the business meets all its statutory and compliance obligations, including statutory accounting and tax issues.
Requirements:
- Atleast 5 years in a similar role;
- Tax and VAT;
- BCom Accounting/ CIMA/BCom Hons;
- Stock counts and interact with factory operations;
- Qualified CA;
- Advanced knowledge in Oracle and/or Tally software will be advantageous;
- Must have own vehicle and valid licence;
- Be able to use initiative; ability to deal with new situations, difficulties, and to come up with solutions;
- Experience managing a small team;
- Take ownership of balance sheet and working capital management;
- At least 3 years post-article working experience required;
- Professional registration;
- Word and excel proficient;
- It goes without saying that you will be highly numerate, have strong financial awareness, and be able to work in a high-pressure environment;
- A top achiever.
