Logistics Specialist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure strict adherence to delivery times and requirements;
- Ensure that all processes are correctly implemented and maintained both internally and externally;
- Assisting in the coordination and management of all store opening projects;
- Monitor and assess supplier performance on an ongoing basis and implement corrective actions and make recommendations as and when required;
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of supply chain best practices, customs clearance, CIQ importation processes and all other logistics influencing factors;
- Ensure that all key role players are trained with regards to the company systems and processes;
- Ensure strict adherence to all record keeping and filing processes;
- Participation in the sourcing and reviewing of 3PL service providers;
- Completing and following up on daily stock administration tasks.
Requirements:
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering or related courses;
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Supply Chain or Logistics experience in FMCG;
- Preferably 2 years relevant work experience;
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
